Another transformed bachelor pad joins the ranks of completed Designer Man Cave projects!
Located in the ‘Altair Building’, this bachelor engaged Designer Man Cave for professional design advice and assistance to upgrade his previous furniture, lighting and accessories. The aim was to create a more mature space and replace existing cost effective furniture with good quality pieces that would serve our client for many years to come.
Merging the minimalist, monochrome Designer Man Cave aesthetic with our clients appreciation of Scandinavian design and love of the colour blue, Kate introduced a more muted blue colour palette to work with the exisiting timber flooring and new furniture and lighting selections.
Further inspiration for the interior was drawn from the unique and one-of-a-kind Aboriginal artwork that was acquired as part of the re-decoration. A highlight of the project.

Here’s what our client had to say:
Kate’s design savvy and talent transformed my apartment into the sophisticated home that exceeded my initial expectations. She skilfully took me through a process to understand what sort of look I was after, present me with well-chosen and on-budget lighting, design, and furniture options, and manage the transformation process.
She was responsive to my initial ideas but also smartly pushed me out of my comfort zone with a positive outcome. Her contacts in the art world also helped me find a painting of my dreams. I can’t recommend Kate enough! – Richard
