Damian Campagnaro is an architect who is responsible for some of Adelaide’s most stunning properties and now has his sights on Sydney. No job is too challenging and Campagnaro is known to go beyond the brief, resulting in breath-taking results. Whether it’s an unworkable site, a tired facade, the affable DC Architecture founder has an incomparable knack for knowing what you’re thinking. This is Senator Bernardi’s house, which is stately, modern and a little bit quirky…
The designer’s unorthodox process works for him well. Campagnaro’s creations hold pride of place across Adelaide’s most coveted post codes and includes a ‘Thunderbirds’ – style mini-house exclusively for a vintage Porsche. I am quite a fan of the construction of this house and I’m quite sure most people who have pride and joy wheels would love the luxury of driving their car into their home. If you have a spare few minutes, I highly recommend you watch it….

With work now spanning as far as a luxury development in the Philippines, Campagnaro’s next step is Sydney. “This sexy and thriving city already possesses an exceptional back-drop. I want to create real estate for people who have some of the best homes in the world – and exceed their expectations”. Indeed, with his sharply dressed manner, charming personality and talked-about creations, this ‘Tom Ford’ of architecture is set to be the secret weapon of affluent Sydneysiders who want to impress their neighbours with their spectacular homes.
I am really looking forward to watching Damian’s journey. Stay tuned! In the meantime, if you have an interest and curiosity of the built form, here are some of my favourite architecture blogs….
